Tax assignment off shore branche

A multinational, operating in off shore and logistics, with offices in ten countries and headquartered in the north of the Netherlands temporarily needed a Tax Manager. This Tax Manager assumed sole responsibility for the execution of tax policy and the containing of tax interests and risks. The activities comprised advising the management on tax consequences when there are changes in the corporate structure and on the consequences of investments, acquisitions and restructuring as well as responsibility for cooperation with external consultants with respect to the tax returns of the Dutch entities.

Tax director foreign multinational

A foreign multinational with a large regional office in the Netherlands was looking for a temporary Tax Director. At this office, a small and professional tax team delivered tax support to a number of divisions worldwide. The Tax Director headed this team and assumed responsibility for all tax matters within the divisions concerned, such as tax planning, M&A, restructuring, maintaining contact with the tax authorities as well as posing as a linking pin for the overall tax director at the international headquarters.

Tax manager capital management

For the temporary enforcement of the legal and tax department of a large institutional capital management organization, a tax manager ad interim was needed. As a member of a team with multiple experienced tax managers, this tax manager advised the business directly on all tax aspects that might occur at the setting up of funds and purchase and sale of, particularly, real estate.
